About the Doctor

Dr. Harris Done

Dr. Done has been setting the highest standards in dentistry for over 40 years! He received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and his dental degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Later, he completed a two-year specialized preciptorship in orthodontics. An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Done is an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society.

Away from the office, Dr. Done volunteers regularly with the USC Mobile Clinic and Ayuda Inc. to provide dental services to underprivileged children not only in Orange County, but also in countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Peru, Cambodia and Nicaragua. In his spare time, Dr. Done enjoys oil painting and has been flying his own airplane for 40 years. He is also a proud father of four sons and one daughter.

Dr. Shirley Kang

Dr. Shirley Kang has been an Orange County native most of her life, growing up in Fullerton and attending Sunny Hills HS. She graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology before moving on to Stanford University's DNA sequencing lab. Like Dr. Done, Dr. Kang attended the USC School of Dentistry where upon graduation she received the John Ingle award for her research on Tissue Regeneration. She also accompanied Dr. Done to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to present her research at the International Dental Federation. Most recently Dr. Kang was selected as one of "America's Top Dentists" by the Consumers' Research Council of America. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Orange County Chapter of the California Dental Association. When Dr. Kang is not working, she loves spending time with her husband traveling, watching movies together, and spending time with their friends enjoying good food. Dr. Kang joined the "Dones Family Dentistry" family in Dec 2007.
